How to Become a Welcome Center

What’s expected of Official Welcome Centers?

Fill out easy online registration form and pay $250 annual participation fee. Once we receive your registration, an LPG coordinator will contact you to help you take full advantage of all the LGP promotional and exposure opportunities

Host a free Intro to Paddlesports event (e.g. Open House) sometime in June, at least half-day, preferably full-day or weekend-long in duration. Format and details of Intro/Open House to be decided by each unique Welcome Center. Note:  Existing events held outside June may also be considered Intro to Paddling events and included on LGP master calendar.

Capture “Intro to Paddling” participation data and submit to Let’s Go Paddling (included as part of uniform event waiver, provided by LGP) for use in establishing baseline data and showing growth of program over time
