Denver Welcome Center set to shine at National Get Outdoors Day, June 12
Let’s Go Paddling Welcome Center, Confluence Kayaks, will be part of National Get Outdoors Day, a major celebration of all things outdoors hosted by the USDA Forest Service in Denver’s City Park on June 12.
Last year’s event attracted upwards of 7,000 people and paddling was among the most in-demand sports. The USFS contacted Let’s Go Paddling to see if it could help provide manpower and boats to better meet the public’s interest in paddling. Confluence Kayaks will join Avid4 Adventure in providing boats, gear and personnel to make sure families have the best possible introduction to paddling.
Denver’s National Get Outdoors Day is a free fun-filled day of outdoor adventure, food, music and prizes scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
